PollCraft / Live quiz maker
Free live quiz maker
Turn any multiple-choice question into a quiz question: mark the right answer, show the QR code, and each player sees instantly whether they got it right. You see the percentage who answered correctly. No accounts for you or the players.
How a PollCraft quiz works
- Write the question and options, then pick the correct answer under Settings → Quiz mode (it opens automatically on this page).
- Show the QR code with Present mode. Players answer on their phones and get “Correct!” or “Not quite” straight away.
- Collect answers with reply links, or run it on one device: pass a tablet round a small group, or read the options and count hands.
- Reveal the chart. The host board shows the share who got it right and what the wrong answers were, which is often the most useful part: a popular wrong answer points to a specific misconception.
What it is not
There’s no countdown timer, points for speed or leaderboard, because those need a server tracking every player in real time. If you want a game show, use a quiz game platform. If you want a fast check of what the room actually knows, without anyone signing up, this is quicker. Comparisons: Kahoot! alternative, Mentimeter alternative.
Writing good quiz questions
- Make wrong options plausible. Base them on mistakes people really make; a silly distractor tells you nothing.
- One clearly right answer. Avoid “all of the above” unless you’re testing that exact idea.
- Ask before you teach, then ask again after. The change between the two charts shows what landed.

Questions people ask
Is this quiz maker free?
Yes, with no accounts, plans or player limits. Quizzes live in their links and results are counted in your browser.
Do players see the right answer?
Yes. After they submit, players see whether they were right and what the correct answer is. Note that the answer is stored in the quiz link, so a determined player could find it; use it for practice and checks, not graded exams.
Can I run a quiz without student phones?
Yes. Use pass-the-device on a tablet, or read the options aloud and use the show-of-hands counter.
Is there a timer or leaderboard?
No. Those need a live server tracking every player. PollCraft focuses on instant feedback per player and a clear chart of right and wrong answers for the host.
