Privacy

PollCraft is built to know as little as possible about you and your voters.

What we don’t collect

  • No accounts, logins, emails or names on our servers.
  • No poll questions, options or votes on our servers. Polls live in the part of the link after #, which browsers don’t send to servers.

What stays in your browser

Using your browser’s local storage, on your device only:

  • polls you created, with their votes and hand counts;
  • a random voter id per poll you voted in, so a second vote replaces the first;
  • your show-of-hands counts, quick word cloud answers and ranked-choice ballots, so a refresh doesn’t lose them.

AI features

If you press an AI button (check wording, suggest questions, summarise themes), the text involved is sent to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to produce the answer. We don’t store it. Don’t include personal details in text you send to AI.

Analytics and hosting

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page visits. It is cookieless and doesn’t see the part of links after #, so it never sees poll contents. The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request logs.
